Computing literacy is defined as learning how to use computers to benefit our life or work. It compasses a general knowledge about computers:

  • Who uses them?
  • What functions do they perform?
  •  How are they used?
  • How are they affecting society?


s     Computer literacy is considered to be a very important skill to possess in developed countries. Employers want their workers to have basic computer skills because their company becomes ever more dependent on computers. Many companies try to use computers to help run their company faster and cheaper.
